Private Chef, Cooking Lessons or Catering - At your place.


Private Chef

We develop your custom-tailered menu.  You decide if you would like additional services (maître d'hôtel, beverages, wine tasting workshops, service rentals, etc).  I determine the requirements for the kitchen equipment.  Before your event, I do the shopping and preliminary preparations.  On the day of your event, I arrive up to 2 hours before the set dinner time to get things situated and ready.  Then your evening begins with preparations "à la minute", cooked on the spot.  Your kitchen is left in the same impeccable state as it was when I arrived. Private dinners start at 60€ per person for a 3 course menu and a minimum group size of 6 adults. Please inquire for other configurations, including Personal Chef (residential or full-day chef).  

Cooking Lessons

We develop a personalized lesson for your family or friends.  Detailed recipes are provided; professional techniques are shared.   Lessons can end by having dinner with what's been prepared, or served later.  Rates are the same as those in the Cooking School but a minimum group size of 8 people is required and my transportation costs are additional.  Please inquire. 

Catering

Full-meal or partial-meal preparations are available.  Tell me what menu style you'd like or your budget, and I can provide menu options with pricing.  All prepared foods are ready-to-serve or ready-to-reheat at your place or venue.  Pick-up or delivery services are available (including set-up if you like).

Chef's Philosophy:  I seek out the highest quality ingredients possible and only work with reputable vendors. Here in the countryside, this means that we either pick from our own garden or fruit orchard, or buy direct from local farms and producers - you can't get more fresh than that!  And what a remarkable difference this makes.  I prepare the maximum possible from scratch – to assure the freshest taste possible and to guarantee a high quality that meets my own strict standards.  My professional training is in classic French cuisine and this is the foundation of my menus. I am also happy to prepare other styles (because I love them also!) – don't hesitate to ask.
